As a result of increased threats of terrorism, shootings, IEDs and explosives, BlastTac® has created the MB Series for enhanced blast protection. MB Series blankets and curtains are effective against deformable and non-deformable threats, which have higher fatality rates than ballistics. MB Series blankets are UL752 certified to levels 2, 3 and 4 in bullet resistance.
The MB Series offers a large variety of options and features including:
- 9875 Matrix Technology™
- ArmourCore™ 135
- Ballistic Protection
- Frag Protection
- Fire Protection
- Monolithic Performance
- Extreme Durability
- Custom Made to Size
- TacLoc™ Modular Connection System
- Engineered to Specification
- Internal Testing to Specification
- Independent Lab Testing
- Berry Amendment Compliance
Using 9875 Matrix technology™ and the flexibility of Unidirectional ArmourCore™ 135, the MB Series significantly reduces back-face trauma and eliminates need for layer counting, quilting and lamination.
The MB Series uses urethane coated 1050 deiner, U.S. Military Grade ballistic nylon for additional waterproof protection and durability against the elements.
BlastTac® has created FireMax specifically for high-temperature applications. FireMax can be applied to any of our series across the BlastTac line, including the MB series, for additional fire, heat and arc flash protection. FireMax is certified to NFPA and ASTM standards.
