Pressure Testing Blast Bay
The BlastTac line offers superior protection for pressure testing blast bay areas. BlastTac is a leading line of blast resistant curtains and blankets providing ballistic, blast, frag and fire protection, is the perfect solution for blast bay testing. We offer five different series and 48 standard performance and custom levels. Our series include: AB (Aerospace), SB (Oil and Gas), CB (Industrial), MB (Military / Police) and FM (FireMax).
We engineer our blast resistant curtains and blankets with Core Matrix® technology which significantly reduces back-face trauma and eliminates layer counting, quilting and lamination. It is effective against both deformable and non-deformable threats, which are more prevalent and lethal than bullets. Core Matrix technology and ArmourCore™ technology combined provides for protection against all forms of blast and high-speed frag.
FireMax® Fireproof Protection
When fireproof protection is needed, FireMax technology is applicable to any series across the BlastTac line for additional high-temperature, arc flash, chemical and fire protection. FireMax is non-flammable as it will not burn, melt or ignite. Similarly, it will also shed molten metal, certain chemicals, flammable liquids and other molten substances. With a patented EPIC encapsulation, FireMax is also water resistant and durable in harsh weather conditions.
FireMax blast curtains and blast blankets are re-usable even after direct flame and extreme heat exposure. In addition to the existing ballistic, blast and frag protection capabilities. FireMax is certified to NFPA and ASTM standards. FireMax also offers its own line of FM series thermal blankets and curtains.
Certifications
All of the products in our BlastTac line are Berry Amendment Compliant, Independent Lab Certified to ASTM, UL752, NIJ, NFPA, Mil spec. We engineer our products with U.S. made, U.S. Military grade materials.
